Moab has a ban on plastic bags. I bought this bag at the KOA for a buck. I’m sure it will come in handy. If any of my readers travel out West, I just want you to know there are many states that charge you for bags when grocery shopping and Moab is a no plastic bag city. I guess Moab put this ban on plastic bags back in 2018.

This is our last day in Moab so we thought since we had free entry, we would take another drive through Arches.

The fur kids love to go for rides. They spend a lot of their lives in the Big Boy Truck. They have traveled more states and have been in more national parks than most people have. They know that when we stop or when we go very slow, the windows come down and they get some fresh air and can look out.

We’ve stopped and took pictures of the Fiery Furnace on our last visit, but we stopped again and got more pictures.

It’s been in the high 90s and some days over 100º for weeks now. When we first started our RV travels, we were going to follow 70º temperatures. Well that didn’t work.

A few pictures of the Fiery Furnace.
This area is called Windows. I wondered who named these areas and how they came up with names for these areas. I’m not going to mention what my husband calls some of these rock formations. Use your imagination!
On our way back to camp, we stopped at a grocery store. We went to City Market. As usual, Hubby waited in the Big Boy Truck with the pups while I went in to shop. I liked this store. It had everything. The shelves were packed solid with every brand of food and miscellaneous item. The layout was rather strange but I found everything I needed and the checkout guy scanned his courtesy card so I could get the deals on their rewards program. I hate when I go into a grocery store and they have a rewards program that offers better prices on certain items. I’m never going back to that grocery store so I am not signing up for their program. And some stores do not give their checkout people a courtesy card to use for people that are traveling. Publix stores in the southeast do not have a rewards program. Everyone gets the good prices and deals.

We got back to camp early. We had a few things to do before our travel day. We emptied our black and gray tanks and disconnected our satellite for our Dish Network and put the satellite dish in our storage bin. The rest of the things we need to do will wait till morning. We are heading to Vernal City and staying two nights at the KOA there.
God Bless, Stay Safe, Be Kind to Every Kind and if you are out west, take your own grocery bags.
