This is our second stay at Summersville Lake Retreat campground. This campground is a nice and relaxing place to stay. We were here in June of 2020 and I published a post. You can read about our last stay here.

We reserved the same site #30 as we did last June. The blue camp chairs near the firepit are new. They add some ambiance to the sites.

The lake in the distance can be viewed from our campsite.

The lighthouse is a real working lighthouse. Not sure about the boat. I don’t remember it from last year and it appears to be under renovation.

The camp store was closed when I took this picture so I could not go in. We are here for a few more days so there is plenty of time to check out the store.

Today is Friday, May 7. It is raining and cold. The high today will be 54º at around 5 pm. After being in Florida all winter, 54 is very cold  I’ve had the electric fireplace running all day today.

Hopefully this weather forecast will change. As it stands right now, when we get home on Sunday, the high will be 48º with an 80% chance of rain. I’m going to freeze my butt off.
