This is our second stay at Creekfire RV Resort. If you have children, this is the place for you. Also, they are dog friendly and allow three dogs per site. Most resorts like this one have a two dog limit.
The sites are spacious. We had a corner lot which I love. We had a picnic table and fire pit, both of which we didn’t use because we were only there for two nights and it was very windy. Does anyone notice that it is windy everywhere these days. We seldom put out our awnings anymore because of the winds.
This park has more swimming areas for children than for adults. There is a Lazy River full of children laughing and having the time of their lives. There is also a pool area that has a red bucket that fills up with water and then dumps the water onto laughing children. It was evident the children were having a blast.
There is a lounge/bar area for the adults and laundry room. The lounge area has a happy hour and entertainment. We have our own washer/dryer in our 5th wheel so we do not need to use the laundry room, but I like to take pictures of it in case my readers would like to see it.
There is a restaurant on site that delivers to your site. We ordered food for delivery our first night and the food was delivered quickly, the food was hot & delicious. Note, the restaurant is not open on Sundays. I found out the hard way. I rate this resort 5 stars.

Our second stop on our way home was at a campground called “The Barnyard”. This is a Good Sam’s campground and perfect for our overnight stay. The site we were in was 100 ft long and level. We always unhitch because it is easier to get fuel for the truck when we are not pulling the 5th wheel.

You can always tell the difference between an older RV park and a new RV park. This is an older park. The trees are tall and provide plenty of shade.
This park has a nice size duck pond that is fenced in. I felt bad because when the ducks saw me, they made a B-line toward me probably thinking I had food. I did not.

I’m not rating this park since we only stayed here one night. The check-in process was quick and the lady that checked us in was very nice. I will for sure stay here again if passing through this area.
God Bless, Stay Safe Be Kind to Every Kind and when you see a duck pond, be sure to have duck food.
