Yesterday was a great day for the pool. The temperature was 84º and sunny. And as you can see, I had the pool almost to myself. Robin and Pam were at the pool and provided great conversation. I will miss this pool and my pool friends.

Last night was Euchre night at the clubhouse. Only four of us showed up so we only had one table. There was Lynda, Judy, Bonnie and, of course, me. We had a great time talking and laughing. There were times we didn’t even know what suit was being played because we were having so much fun gabbing. Judy and her husband leave Southern Leisure tomorrow. We leave on Saturday. I had so much fun playing Euchre twice a week with a great group of people. We’ve been on the road for 15 months now and these past two months were my best ever because of the friends I made here. I have what I call Euchre friends and pool friends. I will miss them.
Last night was the “pink moon” – April’s full moon. It also was a “supermoon,” meaning it looked larger than a typical full moon. I captured these pictures while walking back to my 5th Wheel after Euchre. We played an extra game (because we were having such a good time) so it was dark when I left the clubhouse.
I was doing some shopping on Amazon yesterday before I went to the pool. I need something different for my garage area. Right now, BooBoo and I sleep on half of the Happy Jack system.
You may ask, what is a HappyJack System? it’s a bed on rails. You get two u-shaped uprights that become a rail for each corner of the bed, a connecting rod to keep everything moving together and a motor to drive it. In the picture below, there is a table. Our table is in storage, we don’t use it because I have one side of the seat turned into a twin bed. I have a memory foam mattress pad on top for added comfort.

In the picture below, you will see my setup. The problem with this is it is stationary and cannot be moved. We are heading out West this summer we are taking our mini Cricket Golf Cart with us. There might be times when we cannot or do not want to take the Golf Cart out of the garage so we cannot lower the Happy Jack system and BooBoo and I end up sleeping on the couch in the living room area. I was thinking of getting a fold up bed that would fit next to the golf cart. When I started looking at fold up beds, I came across an even better solution.

I found this:
How perfect would this be. It’s a chair, lounger and a bed that all fits in the Ottoman. Perfect for traveling.
Ottoman Dimensions:28.34″ x 27.17″ x 16.93 ” (WxDxH)
Sofa Dimensions:29.52″ x 46.85″ x 32.09 ” (WxDxH)-
Bed Dimensions:74.02″ x 29.6″ x 16.93 “(WxDxH)-
Material:High quality imitation cotton hemp+Foam Spong+Semi-matte metal framework
Net Weight: 62lb
And what is even better is the price. $235.99. I will order it for delivery for when we get to our Home Base in Pennsylvania. I’m anxious to try it out. Of course I will blog about it so stay tuned.
God Bless, Stay Safe, Be Kind to Every Kind and cherish new friends even if you may never see them again.
The ottoman bed looks cool – can’t wait to hear how it works out for you.
