It’s cold outside and that would be fine if we were back in PA, but we are in Florida, the sunshine state. In my opinion, the two differences between Pennsylvania weather and Florida weather is tomorrow the high will be back in the 70s here in Florida and the sun shines almost every day. The cold snaps are temporary and usually will only last a few days.
I still get up early every morning. This morning at 7 am, it was a very chilly 36º. Almost as cold as our home base back in Pennsylvania.
Not every day is a vacation day for us Hubby and I both have a list of things that need to get done while we are stationary here in Florida. A few of the items are listed below.
- Defrost the Freezer
- Clean the filters/screens in the air conditioners and ceiling fans.
- Hubby bought emblems for our mudflaps on the truck. They need installed.
- We already have a TPMS system for our tires on the 5th wheel. We bought sensors for the six wheels on the truck. They need programmed and put on the truck.
- I need to do a good cleaning on the inside of the microwave.
- We have a floor mat that needs a good scrubbing.
- I’m going to re-organize our whole outside under-belly storage compartments.
Oh, the struggle. BooBoo is going through a stage where he needs to wear his belly-band. He has been marking his territory. Sometimes I feel like we are taking two steps forward and one step back. I tell BooBoo that only babies wear diapers. He does not care.
Thankful that Bella and Benji have the bathroom thing down pat. All in all, these three pups are very good, well behaved dogs.
The sun does shine bright during the day and we did get some deck time even on a chilly day.
I managed to get this great picture of Bella.
Today, I can cross one item from my to-do list. I defrosted the freezer. I have a system and it only takes me around 15 minutes to defrost the freezer.
The weather this afternoon is perfect for a walk. It’s sweatshirt weather here in Florida today. For our walk today, we put Benji in his backpack carrier. I would love for Benji to be able to walk on the leash, but even in his no-pull harness he pulls so hard he hurts his throat. He also pulls so hard on the leash that his paws dig into the pavement. When he does this, somehow it kicks up dirt on his furry paws and his white furry paws turn blacktop dirty. He just got groomed the other day and his paws are white. I want to keep them that way. And he barks at everything he sees when he is on the leash. For everyone’s sanity, he needs to ride.
We probably walked close to two miles today. This RV park is huge, with many loops.
God Bless, Stay Safe, and Be Kind to Every Kind.
