A New Market Virginia Morning

As I sit on my couch in my 5th wheel, looking out my window this morning, I can’t describe the feeling of tranquility I feel. It is so peaceful and quiet. I’ve been retired for over a year and sometimes I still have to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming. It can’t get better than this. Traveling full time in our home on wheels is like constantly being on vacation.

It’s a chilly morning. I have the electric fireplace on to get the chill out from inside of the coach. Hubby is still sleeping with Bella and Benji.

BooBoo and I are sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace watching the news. Even the stress of the news can’t take away the feeling I am feeling this morning. If I could bottle this feeling and sell it, I would be a millionaire.

Our neighbor is in an airstream. He is getting ready to pull out. We’ve been lucky with neighbors. You never know what you will get. But we are on wheels and if we don’t like something, we just hitch up and go somewhere else. We have not had to do that. Sometimes we meet our neighbors and sometimes we don’t.

God Bless, Stay Safe, and Be Kind to Every Kind.

      1. I had this dream for 15 years. It took me a while to get my hubby on board. We had two options. We could have kept the house and took a few vacations each year. Keeping the house and property meant a lot of work. Cutting Grass, raking leaves, Inside and outside work, cleaning a big house. Our hone was also getting to that age where things were needing replacements. Our other option was to sell everything and travel full time and see the US while we are healthy. We don’t know what our future holds for us, but for now, we are having the time of our lives.

      2. My husband was struck by the RV bug first. He was watching YouTube and somehow started watching RV channels. He convinced me to watch some of the channels and it seemed like it would be great fun. We’ve made a couple of test runs to see if we could live in such a small space and the answer was yes!
