The pups know the drill on travel days. As I secure everything that needs secured, the pups wait patiently. We do the exact same steps each time we get ready for a travel day. We have a routine and we stick to it.

Again today we stayed away from Interstate travel. We decided to travel Route 220 & Route 50. Route 50 was a perfect motorcycle road with hills and hairpin turns. Did I just say perfect for a motorcycle? What were we thinking driving these roads in a 43.5 ft long 5th wheel being towed by a Big Boy Truck. Hubby did fine.
BooBoo is out growing his space on the console of the truck. He has more room on the back seat. The three pups are all in the back seat now and Hubby and I have our console back.

Bella never got to sit up front with me. She was fussing a little today so I gave Bella a treat and let her sit on my lap for a short period of time. After 10 minutes of not being able to get comfortable on my lap, she was adamant about going back to her comfy seat in the back. Not another peep out of her after she settled back in her seat.

I did it again. Another winning camp resort in New Market, Virginia. Remember, I spend hours on my computer, researching and looking for the perfect sites to reserve and it pays off. Much of this campground is on a hill. We needed our 4-wheel drive to get to our spot but I knew that. I was asked if we have 4 wheel drive when I called to reserve. But look at this spot. It is absolutely beautiful and so quiet. We are here for seven nights.
A pull-thru with full hookups close to Skyline Drive for a weekly rate of $300 and this includes tax. It averages $42 a night. This is a premium site. No cable but we have a handful of antenna channels. We also have streaming with our Firestick.

After setting up just enough to use the main area of the rig and bedroom, we can relax a little. Hubby and Benji quickly grabbed the couch in front of the TV. The rest of our setting up can wait until tomorrow. Travel days are tiring. It’s chilly here today.

The next few days will be exciting. We will drive Skyline Drive and parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We’ve rode these spectacular roads on our GoldWing but now we will do it in the Big Boy Truck with BooBoo, Bella, and Benji.
God Bless, Stay Safe, and Be Kind to Every Kind.
I love Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway! They are so beautiful! Enjoy your rides!
