For some strange reason, BooBoo will not sleep in bed with me anymore.
It started the night of the bad weather last week. Every evening, Hubby goes to the bedroom at 8 pm to watch TV. That gives me some alone time to watch TV in my area I have set up in the 5th wheel garage. Our Rig came with 4 TVs so there is one in every room and one outside built into a compartment. Anyway, Benji and Bella go with hubby at 8 pm. BooBoo stays with me until around 10:30 or 11 pm.
It all started the night of the bad weather. High winds and heavy rain were predicted. I’m sure the pups could feel my anxiety so when BooBoo and I went up to the bedroom, BooBoo jumped off the bed and scurried to the couch in the living area, I figured it was from the storm. Although storms never bothered BooBoo, I felt maybe he could sense my anxiety.
The high winds and rain did hit our area and lasted most of the night. Not wanting to leave BooBoo down on the couch by himself, I grabbed my pillow and blanket and joined him on the couch.
Ever since that night, BooBoo refuses to sleep in the bed. During the day, he will play on the bed while I am doing laundry. I turn on the TV and BooBoo will stay with me on the bed while I watch TV. All of this is during the day. At bedtime, it is a completely different story.
I’m ok with BooBoo sleeping on the couch. I make him a very comfy bed. The problem is, he cries for me in the early morning and it tugs at my heartstrings. So between 5 am and 6 am, I go down on the couch and snuggle with my baby boy.
Today, I hear a word I never heard before and it is coming East. I sure hope it stays south of us. The word is derecho. What the heck?? Corona/Covid 19 and now derecho. Can’t wait for 2021.
God Bless, Stay Safe, and Be Kind to Every Kind and Watch Out For Derecho!
BooBoo what happened sweetie? It would break my heart. My Finley sleeps snugly next to me and if she didn’t, I’d wonder too. And I have never heard of that storm. Hmm. What a year. Stay safe! 💚

An estimated 1 million people in the midwest without power due to that storm system called a derecho over 770 miles of land. At 5 am this morning BooBoo was fussing so I joined him on the couch.
