The Sun is Shining! The Day After the Storm. UPDATE.

The sun is shining, people are moving about and it looks like it’s going to be a nice day today.  I have not been out to see if everything is still in place outside.  That will have to wait until the hubby wakes up.

We dodged the bullet last night. The worst of the storm went inland.  It was bad last night but I could not imagine what it would have been like if we were in the direct path of Tropical Storm Isaias.  The wind last night was furious and the sound of the rain was deafening on the roof of the RV.  It was a very long night.  The RV was rocking and rolling with each gust of wind.

It was very unsettling for the fur babies.  Benji was under the covers and Bella was snuggled up to Hubby.  My BooBoo would not stay in bed.  The minute I put him on the bed, he bolted off and headed to the lower floor of the 5th wheel.  Then he would bark, wine, and cry.  Three times I tried to put him in bed and all three times had the same outcome.

What do you do when one of your fur babies won’t come to bed because he is upset and scared.  You grab your pillow and blanket and join him on the couch.  It wasn’t until after 5 am when BooBoo finally fell asleep cuddled up next to me.  I gave BooBoo his medicine for anxiety at 2 am and honestly, I think he was so upset that it didn’t work.  He just could not settle down.  He could not find a place on the couch where he could get comfortable.

Not only did we have a storm to look forward to yesterday, but our RV fridge also quit working.  When it rains, it pours, literally.

God Bless, Stay Safe and Be Kind to Every Kind.

I’ve heard occasionally in rain the fridges in our Momentum’s quit and have to be reset with a magnet. Have never had it happen but check the facebook groups several have – could be an easy fix. Glad you are safe.

    1. Been there, done that. Long history with this fridge. The magnet reset it and then two seconds later came back on. With Norcold under warranty you have to pay for the diagnostic fee. I’m on my third set of diagnostic fees. I’ll have as much in this RV fridge and diagnostic fees then it’s worth. Pretty soon I’ll know enough about this refrigerator to fix it myself only I don’t have the parts. It was a rocky night and I hope today would be a better day. Thanks for reading.
