At 10:40 am today, June 1st, we pulled out of our site at Flamingo Lake RV Resort. It was a great three months at this resort. I find it hard to believe it is June already. We’ve been on the road for 6 months.

We said goodby to neighbors. We had nice neighbors but now it is time to move on. Who knows, maybe we will see them again

Today will be a short drive day. Actual driving time is estimated to be a little under three hours. My thought process is that we’ve been at this park for three months and we should start out slow so we can get back in the swing of things pulling this big rig again.

Leaving Florida. I love Florida in the winter and even early spring but for the life of me, I can’t figure out why people would go there in the summer. Hot and humid. We will go back this coming winter. We already have reservations.

The New Green Acres is our home for the night. We’ve stayed here before.

This park is perfect for an overnight stay. The sites are long and mostly level. The price is right. We have full hook-ups. This park is right off I95. So close I can see the vehicle wiz by from my site. Traffic is a little noisy but after a short while you don’t even notice. Just turn up the TV.

I’m in my bed watching TV. I get to sleep in my bed, cook in my kitchen, bathe in my bathroom and relax in several different rooms in my 400 square feet home on wheels. No more hotels for me.

Thankful we did not have any unexpected issues due to the rioting.
