Road Trip!  Today, we took a road trip to Galveston Island.  It was nice to get out for a few hours. We never get an early start doing anything.  But isn’t that what is so great about retirement and the new life we are living.  We don’t have an agenda.  We don’t have a time limit.  We are never late because we don’t have to be anywhere. on time  All of my life in my personal life and my business life, I had to be early for every event or appointment.  Most of the time, I was a half-hour early.  I sat in my vehicle in parking lots more than I can count waiting.

Today, we got a little of a later start.  not late, just later.

We left our RV in Dickinson a little after 1 pm and the temperature was in the low 70s.  The temps dropped the closer we got to the water.  As I walked the beach area, the wind was blowing and the air was a little on the brisk side.  But the sun was shining bright and we had a lovely day.
