We stayed at the Gulf Beach RV Resort for 3 nights on our way to Dickinson, Texas. This was expensive for us because of the length of our RV and we wanted a pull through. Our site was 63 and we had a perfect view of the gulf from our RV garage windows.
This park was like a cement parking lot void of trees, shrubs, and flowers. As you can see by the image on the right, I90 is situated between the RV park and the beach. Crossing I90 was a nightmare as traffic went by quickly and it was a busy thoroughfare.
This park would be a nice place to stay during the warm days of summer where you could take advantage of the beach.
It was nice that the sites were concrete and level. We had a hard time fitting our truck in the same spot as our 5th wheel but it was manageable.
The main “pro” for this resort was the beautiful sunsets.
There was a Waffel house within walking distance of our site. If we told them we were guests of the Gulf Beach RV Resort, we would get a discount on our meal. This stopover was good for us because it was minutes from the interstate.
We would probably not stay here again only because of the price and because there was really nothing for us to do.
