I always said I was the brains and hubby was the brawn. I have the intellectual power and hubby has the physical strength. We work great as a team? Now I’m rethinking this.
I’m in the 5th wheel doing inside work. Hubby comes in and tells me he can’t figure out how to work the stinky slinky apparatus aka Sewer Hose Support. Below is a picture of the support apparatus. To come to his defense, when you pull the stinky slinky apparatus apart, you have to have a good imagination on how it is going to work. And you have to play with it. If I invented this, I think I would have come up with a better solution.
So here I am, very comfortable inside the 5er doing some inside work so I ask the hubby: “Can’t you figure it out It’s not that hard”. Nope. He needs me. I like the feeling of being needed, but not necessarily to be needed to work the stinky slinky apparatus. So out of the 5th wheel I go. It only took me a few minutes to master the stinky slinky apparatus and I did a great job. I also showed the hubby how to do it so he can do it in the future. Now if he only remembers.
