I got new glasses.  I like the purple frames.  Even though my eye doctor said my prescription was just a little different, I can see so much better.

Update on our Grand Design Momentum 397TH.  It looks like we are scheduled for our walkthrough at 2 pm on Friday, October 25.  One week from today.  Lindsay is going to babysit our furbabies for us.  Since our truck is delayed, General RV will deliver it for us for $200 which I think is very reasonable.  We should have it here by the middle of the week following the walkthrough.  Then I can start to move our stuff in.

We have reservations for February at a campground in Texas.  It looks like they did the old “Switch and Bait” on us.

When I reserved, we were assigned a very nice spot (61) on the lake.  We could sit on our patio with a clear view of the lake.

A few weeks ago I received another confirmation.  I must not have paid attention to it until today, but our site number changed.  Now instead of our patio opening up to a clear view of the lake, we are now assigned to lot 89 that has a clear view of a row of RV’s.

I emailed the campground and asked them if we could have our site #61 back or a site comparable to site 61and if not, I am not paying $800 to face a row of RVs that would be situated between us and the lake.  Stay tuned to see where this leads.

Last but not least, today I ordered OTR Mobile.  This little unit called The Nighthawk (New) – 4G Hotspot for Up To 20 Devices will allow me to connect to the high-speed router that I have my security system and printer hard-wired connected to.  Unlimited, 4G Internet for $60 a month.  No contract because it is prepaid monthly.
