Need to Stop and Smell the Roses

In the past 20 “plus” years, the hubby and I have gone on many vacations.  From New Foundland to Florida, from Montana to New Mexico and every state in between, we’ve enjoyed the United States (and Canada).  The problem was because I worked, I had either a one week or a two-week vacation.  We didn’t have time to smell the roses.  I had to get back to work.

For 15 years I’ve had a dream to travel the United States, to stop and smell the roses.  I want to stroll down the sidewalks of historic towns and camp where the tourists don’t go. I want to spend weeks, not days visiting National Parks and tourist attractions.  I want to stop and smell the roses.

Tonight as I strolled through the archives of past vacations on my computer, I thought I would prepare a collage of pictures of just some of the places we’ve visited in the past 20 plus years.
