What else can happen? Well, as I sit in the dark wondering when the electric will come back on, and all of my battery lanterns are in storage, I do have my MIFI for internet and my battery is full on my laptop. The electric went out about an hour ago. ETA to be fixed is 8:30 am, but I’ve heard that before. Our rain gauge is full to the top. I have three puppies on my lap wondering what the heck is going on.
Penn Power just came down my drive. I’ve never seen that before. Knowing my luck, they just came down to read my meter so they can bill me. I believe I am among the 21 to 100 affected customers as shown in the image below.
Today, the moving company I hired will come to my house to get me an estimate of what it will cost me to move my furniture. Moving date is June 28th.
The rain we are getting is seriously unprecedented. Sure it rains in other areas of the United States, but when we have our home on wheels (our 5th wheel) we can pick up and go. We can follow the sunshine. Yesterday, my hubby, being at the end of his rope with all of this rain said: “I can’t wait to get out of here”. Me too.
