We’ve set a date to sign our contract with the realtor. This is huge. Tuesday, May 28th we will sign the contract. It will get listed on Thursday, May 30th. Still so much to do. Hubby said he never saw the house this clean. I asked, “And your point is?”
I want to thank my sister’s husband for helping us with a lot of the outside stuff. If it weren’t for him, we would still be outside struggling. We are not as young as we once were.
As I take each room inside the house and give it a thorough cleaning, hubby and Larry do yard work and stuff to make the outside pristine. Things left to do. Windows to wash. I’m scrubbing carpets. We need to work on some woodwork trim inside. We are making progress on cleaning the garage. Hubby wants to spread mulch. We are getting some gravel spread on the drive. I have a little bit of deck to paint. We have a week to get-er-done. I think the weather will cooperate.
It’s scary that the house might sell right away and it’s scary that it won’t. We have the perfect property but to keep it perfect, it takes a lot of work. With close to 12 acres, the buyer could have animals, such as horses, cows, goats, etc. Hopefully, the buyer likes to fish, because the Neshannock creek winds through the backyard.
As my sister says, “the shit is getting real!”
