My Days

It’s finally sinking in.  I’ve been retired for 47 days and it is finally sinking in that I don’t have to go to work tomorrow.  On the other hand, I can’t believe I’ve been retired for 47 days.  I was hoping that once I retired, the days would slow down.  I still wake up at 6:30 am and I’ve actually been staying awake later.  I’ve been able to watch the 10:00 p.m. news.

Yesterday it was a Monday and I got to enjoy some pool deck time.  The water in the pool is much too cold to swim, but I enjoyed some lounge chair time.  The bugs were bad.  Is this a sign of what is to come this summer.  I already had a tick bite and yesterday, I had a lump on my head with some blood on it.  Since it was not my husband hitting me in the head with a hammer, I assume it was some horrible bug like a spider that bit me while I slumbered.

Progress is going slow on getting some of the things done around the house that needs to be done before we can start the process to sell the house.  Just proves a fact that we are not as young as we once were.  So we are getting things done on Elder Speed.  Elder Speed is a phrase I made up to describe the speed in which we get things done being retired now.

Today, while hubby was cutting grass, I spent some much needed time doing something technical.  I worked a little on a video I am editing about the puppies riding in the sidecar and I worked on a logo for my Blog.

So, what does everyone think of my logo below?  COMMENT BELOW PLEASE!
