Until I retire, we have a routine here at home. During the week, the pups get up with me at 6:15 am. I get their breakfast ready and then I go get ready for work. BooBoo and Benji are confined to the kitchen and outside deck while Bella gets to snuggle with hubby for a while longer. She usually wakes him up with a paw to the nose around 7:15. And she is relentless. She will not stop until he gets out of bed.
On weekends or bank holidays, I let the hubby sleep in until a whopping 9 am. The pups let us sleep until 7 am. That is fine with me because I do not want to sleep my life away. We all get up at 7 am and I fix the pups breakfast. Hubby goes back to bed and the pups and I head downstairs where I confine them to the family room. I compute and the pups sit on the chair with me.
BooBoo, Bella, and Benji are unbelievably amazingly well behaved. Like children, they have their moments. They pick on poor Bella but most of the time, they get along fine. They are potty trained. This is huge. They go to bed at 8 pm. They eat at 6:30 am and 5:30 pm daily. We keep our schedule. BooBoo lets us know if we are late for one of our deadlines. He will bark and we have to figure it out. All in All, they are excellent pups. They are a joy and they lighten our lives. They give the hubby purpose.
