For any of you just joining and wondering why my blog is called Glampinginmyrv and I am blogging from my living room, here is the plan:

Retire on March 31

Put the house up for sale on April 1

When the house sells, we plan on buying a GMC 3500 Diesel, Dually, 4 Wheel Drive Truck to pull our dream RV, a Grand Design Momentum 398M Toy Hauler with an 18 ft toy box for our Goldwing/sidecar.  I’ll be packing up the puppies, the hubby and we’re off to see the United States.

So for now, I am blogging about the preparation.  We already had a huge garage sale.  Daily I am researching everything such as accessories we will need to make our lives easier on the road and how to find cheap campgrounds.  I’m a planner.  I will plan, the hubby will follow along.

Side Note:  The domain name “glampinginmyrv” was available so I grabbed it.  We will be glamour camping.

Side Note #2.  Had an early Christmas Dinner with my sister and nieces last night.  I’m the short one.
