Seriously! Don’t come back another day.
It is commonly said that in western PA, we don’t have hurricanes, we don’t have wild fires that destroy hundreds and thousands of acres, we don’t have massive flooding or mud slides. It’s not really a bad place to live.
What’s up with that! We have tornados. We have long cold winters. There are times we have below 0 weather for days. We go days and sometimes weeks without seeing the sun. Everyone is Vitamin D deficient.
Not only am I selling the house to live our dream, I am selling the house because I do not want to spend my retired years in PA. Our house on wheels will take us in the direction of sunshine and warm weather.
Pennsylvania is really a beautiful state. Just a few of the awesome attractions in PA that I will travel to but only for a visit are:
Liberty Bell, Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia
Hershey Park is the town’s main attraction with 90 acres of rides
Gettysburg is the site of Gettysburg Battlefield
Presque Isle State Park sits on a peninsula that curves out into Lake Erie
Fallingwater is one of the most famous of the buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright
Lancaster County is known for its Amish culture and railroad history
